Our story
Aikya is a Sanskrit word for oneness, and it describes how the centre works. Chronic pain care in most cities is fragmented: the scan happens in one place, the opinion in another, the procedure in a third, and the physiotherapy wherever you can find it. Along the way, the one question that matters, what exactly is generating this pain, is often never answered.
AIKYA Pain and Spine Centre, Marathahalli, was founded by Dr. Kalpana K, MBBS, MD, FIPP (USA) and FIAPM gold medallist (Reg. No. 70967), to put that question first. Every patient begins with a proper examination and history, imaging is read alongside the clinical findings, and treatment is chosen to match the diagnosis: from physiotherapy and image-guided interventions to endoscopic spine surgery, with prevention and wellbeing built into the plan that follows.
Most of our procedures are performed in a day-care setting under C-arm or ultrasound guidance, which means for most patients there is no overnight admission, and our insurance desk files pre-authorisations with EMI options available.
